Launched in 2012 by Le Point, in partnership with Toulouse Métropole and the Midi-Pyrénées region, Futurapolis is an annual forum dedicated to innovation in all domains of daily life.

This public event, for experts and amateurs, both pluralist and optimistic, is accessible to all via online registration. At its second edition, in April 2013, Futurapolis welcomed more than 12,000 people for 19,000 reserved tickets which is proof of the public’s great interest in subjects that can influence tomorrow’s lifestyle.
Since its creation, Futurapolis has associated all French public research bodies in its initiative : CNRS, Inserm, CNES, CEA, Technion and the Toulouse University centers.
This year, during three days, with simultaneous debates in four rooms, Futurapolis will move from the Pierre Baudis Conference Center to other symbolic sites of the city of Toulouse such as the Basilica of Saint-Sernin, the EDF Bazacle center on the Garonne river and La Place du Capitole.
This year, Le Point is associated with Touféco, Toulouse’s economic magazine in order to valorize the savoir-faire of the Midi-Pyrénées region as well as its infrastructure of companies and start-ups. A club representing the most important regional innovations will be presented at Futurapolis.
